This is driving me nuts! No-one in town seems to know how to fix it. When I back off the throttle of my '90 Deville (122K) such as at a stop sign, or coasting, it "hunts" several times for the curb idle. All is well until you give it gas, and the "hunt" starts all over. I have kept my foot on the brake in Drive for 5 minutes to "relearn" the idle. The Idle Motor is new, 2 new injectors, and the throttle body has been cleaned. Could the TPS be in need of adjustment? How about a bad ground ? Mileage has fallen to 11.5 in town; haven't been on the interstate in awhile (used to get 23-28 mpg). Car runs great and no codes are being generated.
