I have a 1979 Seville Elegante with a cracked coolant reservoir (overflow tank?). Is there a good source out there for aftermarket plastic fluid reservoirs? I would like to replace this and washer fluid to clean up engine bay.

I'm new here-- I hope I am in the correct part of the forum.

Feedback appreciated! Thanks-- George

This car was based on the Chevy Nova. You might try looking at one to see if it would work. Nova, Omega, Ventura and Apollo were very similar cars.

Great Feedback-- is there a store that produces them new for older cars, or do I need to locate an OEM replacement?

I don't know how much it will help you, but here is a pic of the engine bay of my (former) 1974 buick apollo. the coolant resevoir is on the left

Good stuff-- from what I can see they are in the same general location, but are slightly different parts. I am exploring retrofitting an aluminum tank, similar to a racing set up...

The problem with a metal tank is you cannt see the level!
