Except I think from 03-06 it is in the tank not on the frame rail

On my 03 its on the same place as it is on the video. only concern i had is how badly corroded the connectors were, so i slathered some axle grease on them after putting in the new filter

My 05 don't have one. It part of the pump assembly

----------

The video description say for 03 check manual and 04-05 is part of fuel pump assembly.

Must be a early bulid as mine does not have a fuel filter(except the strainer on the pump)

Hmmm, it's probably one of THOSE situations where they changed it halfway through the year! Fun if you buy parts then tear it apart just to find that the new one doesnt fit!

Did this once with my old 89' Landcruiser when i was 18. I borrowed the G/Fs familys barn to tear it all apart and replace the throttle position sensor, then discovered they changed the sensor halfway through the year, that i had the wrong one, and there was no way to drive out and exchange them since the car was in peices... oops!

Great job on this video, just used it to do the filter on my '03.

Two things to note: 16mm flare is same as 5/8" flare & filter nut size is 20mm. Thanks!
