Hey guys. I'm replacing the fusible links down by the starter on my '70 SDV. The ones that provide the positive feed from the battery cable to the cabin. The car had a minor fuel leak and fire in the past, so these guys are toast, along with most of the wire insulation.
Anyways, I was wanting to replace them with some of those fuse holders that have the replacable fuses instead of the stock ones you have to splice and replace.
What I need to know is what amperage fuse to stick in there? I really don't want to put in one too large and burn out wiring under the dash!

I also would like to know how much amperage I should use because I also want to replace my fusible links with normal modern fuses. The fusible links are hard to find where I live.

It's not that easy fellas. Google this--- fusible links GM amp ---- and read on. Or do a search at www.autozone.com

Good Luck.
