My father has a 91 or 92:helpless: deville it cuts off he put new spark plugs in , still sputters and cuts of he did buy some kind of modual dont know name but it does the same thing ..rough idle and sputtering and will cut off when it wants to. can you give me some advice? so I can help him? What else can he try ? thank you

I have a 90 that had the same problem, Under the disrtibuter cap, and rotor there is a small chip and a magnet rorates a round it it will be held on with 2 scews I replaced the chip and fixed the problem but be very careful they will crack easily when insalling the part is the crankshaft position censor
