hey guys I'm new to this form , I just bought a 2008 STS 150,000km it has a engine code look that up seems to be misfiring on cylinder number 3 when I'm going on the highway at 100km it seems to sputter when and when I step on the gas and go over a hundred it goes away and sometimes when I step on the gas hard I feel as if the vehicle is accelerating a bit by itself..

I was planning to change the spark plugs erase the code if it comes back I was going to switch a coil for another one to see if it misfire on cylinder number 2 I was also going to clean out the throttle body

my questions are am I taking the right step?
also I was doing some reading around do I have to remove the intake to replace the spark plugs or on the 3.6DI it is not needed to ? can I do this myself?

also my car is in park and the the display is beeping telling me its not I have to wiggle it around for awhile for it to go away..?

Soon, you may need to replace the shifter. Some members have been able to get by with adjustments but there is a known issue.

You do not need to remove the intake manifold to replace the spark plugs on the 3.6L DI engine.
