I've heard that it's very difficult to get ahold of these wheels and if you find a set, the centercaps are even harder to find. This is prolly a Sandy question, but how many units with the wire wheels were produced? I never see a RWD Fleetwood with them and when I do, it's like once in a while.

The plants are fine. That picture was taken at the end of October and it's cold out then. Even if I wanted to water them now I can't there's like 2 feet of snow on them.

I got the wheels with the car. It's always had them it was an option on it. Even before I got the car I wanted one with those wheels but I thought I'd have to find them after I bought the car. But it came with them and every other option I wanted :)

and there are your caps.

theres another site that sells repro wheels, but theyre the same ebay has to offer. be prepared to spend a pretty penny (1400-2000) for a repro set. now...about the 80's wire wheels...im pretty sure theyre the same thing also. i dunno, but thats what id get for my 79 deville

That's not the right centre cap. That looks more like the kind the hubcaps use.

Brougham's right. Though I'm pondering if there;s a way to retrofit them....

I've seen them on there sometimes but usually it's just the ones like you had in the same post with those caps. Those aren't the factory wire wheels.

I don't know if that centre cap could be made to work on them or not. I seen at least one Brougham on ebay before that had the wire wheels but the centre caps were different so there is probably a company that makes them.

The factory wire wheels - yes they were a factory option, from the late 80s to 1992 will fit any RWD full size Cadillac (DeVille & Fleetwood) from 1965 up through 1996. (and the caprice / roadmaster too).

How I'd like to get a set of those,, preferrably attached to a 1992 Brougham, Silver, Blue or Black with the 5.7L engine, factory CD radio and leather d'elegance package..........

Anybody got one for sale? I'm ready to buy.

I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm stuck with "wire wheel covers".
