: changing out serpentine tensioner

Any tricks on getting this tensioner out and in as quick as possible. Thanks in advance!

It's really pretty easy. Let off the tension using a 1/2" breaker bar or whatever 1/2" tool you have that will do it, then remove the belt from at least one pulley to allow enough slack. There is a single bolt in the center of the spring, probably 13 or 15 mm bolt. Remove that and the whole thing comes right off. Use the same bolt to put the new tensioner in place. There's a positioning finger so you put it in the right place. Tighten the bolt up, pull the spring back, and put the belt back in place. Done. It really won't take long. I had to change mine out at about 80k.
