Comparing prices with other vendors both affiliated and not with CadillacOwners.com, you guys are clearly the most expensive for the same accessories found elsewhere, is there a reason for this? I will reveal the names of the other sites upon your request...I will name one just for comparison sake...USspeed.com is selling the EXACT SAME chrome tips that you are for $50 LESS....any reason beside greed that your markup is that much higher?

My exhaust tips are not the E&G tips you refer to from USspeed.com.

My CTS tips were fabricated with specific design requests from a major client. My price is the same as it was in December of 2003 and has not softened because my product is unique and distribution is controlled. The E&G tips were introduced at the same price as mine--their price has fallen and mine has not.

Are there any significant differences between the tips, though, just for arguements sake, that would warrant a $50.00 difference? In my opinion, it seems that alot of the prices on your site are inflated, big time, the reflective moldings is another great example...are you guys doing anything special to these items??

TIP DIFFERENCES

FIT
Our tip was fitted, designed, engineered, and fabricated for the 2004 CTS. We wanted and built a tip that would use the openings in the rear fascia without any trimming or alteration.
We wanted and built a tip that would look aggressive and factory at the same time. We wanted and built a tip that would be parallel with the street and not protrude or mar the stealth look.

FINISH
The material used for our tip is 304 stainless which has been highly polished and flashed with chrome which helps stainless avoid discoloration. The tip is completely finished from the rolled lip to the mounting pipe and you can see yourself in the beautiful finish. Also we didn’t stamp our tip with any advertising.

INSTALLATION
To install our tip, place the professional quality furnished clamp on the neck of the tip, slide the neck of the tip onto your tailpipe and tighten with a socket or a nut driver.
NON-INVASIVE

To install the OTHER tip, you will need a couple of bolts, washers, and nuts, tools to tighten them with, a marker, and a drill.

First position the tip where you want it on the tailpipe and mark the tailpipe where the hole in the tip is located, then drill a hole through your tailpipe. After you have drilled through your tailpipe, put the tip on the tailpipe and line it up with the holes you drilled, run the bolt all the way through and secure it with the washer and nut. Repeat on other tailpipe.
INVASIVE
