I have a 97 catera, with bose system...neochanger added in trunk a few months ago...

I have a problem...when I try to play burned cd-r discs, I always get a scratch noise from them...but regular cd's play flawlessly...

I've tried burning at slower speeds, using another brand cd-r, (sony, memorex), yet I don't know what it is.

Could this be the cold weather, or have the dozens of cd-r's I've went through coincidentally went bad?

I am no CD wizard, but read something once. If you understand what I am saying, please enlighten me. The Neo Changer plays MP3 and CD R's. But an article said something about "blue" CD's. Again, I do not know what this means, but it is supposed to be the fix, you are looking for.
