What would make my 4.5 88 fleetwood drip a lot of water all of a sudden, It's never done it before and the last two times i started it, a small puddle of water forced and the tailpipe dripped. Should i be concerned? :disappoin

All engines drip water out the tailpipe. You must have never noticed it before. The byproducts of combustion of a gasoline engine are CO2 (carbon dioxide) and H2O (water). A LOT of water comes out the tailpipe either in liquid or vapor form.

well ya i know but would there be any reason that it JUST started dripping now? the last two times i started it. The only thing i can thing of is when i put the front on ramps maybe the liquid dripped back in the pipe?

If you start and dont let it get warmed up and then shut it off and then do that again, like pulling up on the ramps and then pulling it off, it will load the exhaust up with water and it just now is working its way to the end. Mine drips every morning pretty heavy.

i was always told that water dripping out the tailpipe meant bad head gaskets but i could be wrong.

Thats true, but it would be a whole heck of a lot more water coming out. A blowed headgasket will steam out the pipe and look almost like your pouring transmission fluid down the throttle body. I thick white smoke, but its steam. If you drive 30 minutes on a highway the water should almost be gone unless it is very cold outside.

theres no steam or anything, and it runs smooth, it just sprays some liquid on startup, it doesnt even drip or anything

If you look close, at least on newer cars, there are holes in the mufflers to drain condensation. My Century had one, and both mufflers on the Deville have them. If I let the Deville idle in the driveway for a while, I get little streams of water under each muffler. It's normal. As bbobynski said, water is a byproduct of combustion. Which is why my ventless heater raises the humidity in my garage to close to 50%.
