anyone know demensions of a 472-500 caddy. such as overall width,weight,height...etc. i have been toying around with the idea of a 500 in a old rat rod type coupe. as far as after market intakes go are my only options the edelbrock?? or does anyone make an intake to out stromburg carbs on such as Offenhauser??? i'd love to be able to put 6 stromburg carbs on it. give it that old-style look.

rraaa hhaaa the madeness begins. :) know i have mneasure ments i can begin to plan. i just need to know how wide the frame rails are for about a 32 ford. hmmm i figured that a manifold with a seprate top and bottom would be a option. hmmm what if i maemy own out of aluminum plate. how think you think the aluminum would have to be? then i could make a high rise type of an intake that houses 6 stromburgs on the top!! hmmmm interesting indeeed

there's alot to building an intake that works properly. i'd get ahold of potter to see what he has.
