Opinions and advice appreciated.
I have a 50 chevy p/u I am considering putting a caddy 500 in it.
I have found some caddy seats to fit real nice.
I guess it would be kind of a caddy themed chevy truck.
So many people go with a s/b chevy
I like to go against the grain I guess.

So you know/
I have replaced the front and rear suspension with a suspension from a 80 chevy 1/2 t

would this work or what problems should I expect.
Thanks

the big caddy is a nice fit in the 73-87 pickup, so with that in mind it should be a nice fit in yours frame/suspension wise. rear sump pan will be necessary, other than that i've seen a few with them and they go in pretty easy. typical figuring out of motor mount placement, but thats nothing new with any swap that bolt in peices arent made for.

yea...it'll take a little thinking and such, but that'd be a great project! I built an old '60 Dodge truck with a '68 383 from a Barracuda...not the everyday truck on the road, as I've only seen two others, ever...and one is my sisters! Go along with it, you'll be happy with the power and you can even squeeze halfway decent mileage out of them. Enjoy it!

Do you know if I will need to do anything with the firewall?
