Hey guys, I was wondering if there is a limit to how many times you can use the pellets. I have a small leak in the head gaskets and just installed a new radiator. Car seems to work fine but I have to keep adding coolant about every other day just so it wont overheat. Since im always adding coolant does that mean the properties of the pellets went out wit the old coolant? If so would it be safe to drop 6 pellets every 2 weeks or something of that time frame? Would there be any risk of clogging up something or making matters worse? Thanks in advance

I wouldn't keep adding the supplement pellets that frequently. You can probably add 15 or 20 of them before the coolant starts to become so saturated with the supplement material that it could cause a problem.
If you added the 6 at the initial fill then I would recommend adding two pellets per gallon of coolant added. You can keep track of the coolant ads roughly and add the additional supplement when a gallon has been added. You are right, some supplement will be lost with leaks or coolant loss but you want to add supplement at a rate proportional to the coolant loss.

Thanks alot Mr. Bbobynski. Your info will hopefully keep my car on life support a little longer. Its still chilly in Atlanta, but i hope all hell doesnt break loose when it gets hot. Temperature seems to stabilize or go down when i crank the heat up full blast, would it be wise to rig both fans to run at all times? Once again thank u Sir
