Hi, I new to caddys.
Next week I will have my new used 1990 fleetwood with 10000 mi!!!!!
I am an italian 40 years old enginer and live in Italy.
My car history is:
Ford Fiesta - Volvo 760 - Alfa romeo 145 - Volvo 850 SW - Mercedes SLK K - Jaguar S-type - Mercedes ML 400 - Mercedes CL 55 AMG - AUDI A6 SW

I have decided to change my audi with a fleetwood + Volkswagen Polo to go to the sea and shopping.
I am married and I have a 5 y o son.

I'd like to use caddy every day and Polo only for dirty things.
My fleetwood has the windshield cracked. Any idea where to buy? I havesenne on rockauto.com but it seems only for RWD.

Hi Michele,

It is nice to have a new fellow Cadillac owner from Italy. I always have had Italian colleagues and collaborates over the years. Post some pictures of you Cadi. Also I am pretty sure that someone will help you out in locating a windshield for your cadi.

Yes. that is the main reason to buy the fleetwood instead of a 70's caddy.

Hello !!!! I drove my 1965 Chevelle SS 327 in Naples and Rome for 3 years (U.S. Navy staff duty, AFSOUTH, Napoli) - it is truly a wonder that your car is so perfectly preserved - Take care of it ......

Welcome! That is a gorgeous Fleetwood!

You MAY try local shops for glass, but my guess is your only option might be stateside, and with that you run the risk of shipping glass. :suspense:
Good luck!

Hi Michele!

Welcome to Cadillac ownership, the forum, and our International contingent. You will find many fellow enthusiasts from your side of "the pond" who are around here. They have met the challenge of finding and shipping parts and can advise as needed.

You have found a beautiful Cadillac there. Better fuel use than a 70s Cadillac, and I imagine easier drive on Italian roads, still has the style and seats of the old ones! You should love it!:cloud9:

Thank you guys. I will drive my fleetwood in 10 days. In italy we have very expensive costs due to kw and size of the engine. The solution is to be a follower of historical cars associations and save € 3.000,00 per year in taxes and assurance. But it need app 6 month. I have to wait. Only the change of property costs approx 600€.
