hi all this is my first post on this forum. went to a few differnt caddy dealerships today and i found what i want ctsv, blk/blk loaded navi, moonroof ect. the best offer i got was 51k otd. is this a good deal or what? from the research i have done it seems to me that i can do better and unfortunately the market seems to be really soft on this car right now. any feedback would be greatly appreciated as i may buy as i might buy tommorow. thanks in advance to all who respond.

You did not state whether this was "out the door total" i.e including taxses ect. Does it include the FG2 package? Black interiors do not fair well in Florida, and those cars can be found at rock bottom around 47,000 thousand.

If you are in the southeast region, make sure who is keeping the 1500.00 bonus cash money. The V is eligible for this just like the CTS.

yes 51k is out the door price. (otd). i live in southern california in los angeles county so i think that my tax is higher as well.

Mary, does that $1,500 back apply to smartleases?

i think it does but i do not want to lease the car i want to buy it. it will be my only car so i will be putting a lot of miles on it.

I paid 48,500.00 in April of 2004, when the car had just come out. I probably could have done better, but after a test drive it was hard not to smile. Good luck..

If that includes taxes and license, you are getting the car for around $46k I think. That sounds like a pretty decent deal even now if you don't have any of those GM family discounts to use. In fact, it might be $45k as it probably includes the gas guzzler tax. That is less than I paid in San Diego in October.

Not GMAC leases, there is a capitalized cost reduction instead on the lease. This is a southest region program. I was mistaken on his location. Sorry

sorry otd means out the door. so like is said was it 48500 out the door or was that before tax and lisencing? also, i have noticed a lot of used ones for sale which makes the market soft does it not?
