How much would it cost to replace the timing belt?

Can I still get this done by the dealer free of charge?

Lastly, what are the symptoms of a timing belt going bad?

Id guess anywhere from 200 to 900 dollars

Unless you still have a warranty, the dealer will not do it for free.

There are no symptoms until it goes bad and breaks:
The belt can break or slip on the camshaft cogs. Thereby destroying the timing of the engine and results in the bending of valves or damaging pistons.

Just make sure you know how long youve been running on the belt. 100,000 mile replacement intervals in normal climates and driving conditions. 60,000 mile intervals with 15,000 mile inspections if you live under extreme (cold) conditions.
