Need some help or at least knowledgeable information.
The rear R shock on my SRX is giving problems, and needs to be replaced.
The car only have 38K miles on it and was bought new but there it is !
My problem is that I took the car to South Africa with me on assignment, and there are no more Cadillac in ZAF.
I contacted the GM agents in ZAF, who recon they can import it for me at just under $5k a shock!!! That is just not happening!
Is there any replacement OE/OEM shocks available (MOnroe/Gabriel/AC Delco etc.) that would do the job?
I have been searching and all I seem to find is that it is a SACHS part.

For 5K a shock a few forum members will fly over with the shocks and change them for you ;)

the correct part you are looking for is:

GM#21992495
ACD#540-521

$449.02 - list price each

both rear shocks are the same
comes with the upper mount (see image below)
it is usually recommended to replace them in pairs

if you have a contact in the states that I can ship to I can sell you these at $280.64 each (plus some shipping)
i just can't ship outside the US

That price for Magride shocks Chris?!

those are not magride... the OP's vehicle has FE1 suspension without MagRide

the magride RPO code is F55 and on an SRX would be accompanied by the sport suspension option FE3

the OP's VIN does not have those options ...

I was just asking as if that was Magride that's a great price hahaha.

oh, no... magride is much more expensive (at least twice that much depending on the year and model and sometimes other options)
