Hello,

My 04 SRX 3.6 is giving me issue. I drove it to my GRADUATION today and I ran it pretty fast 80 because I was running late. I parked it and when I came out 4 hours later it wouldn't start:bonkers::banghead:. All the power was working and it sound like it was cranking up but wouldn't turn over. I had it towed home and it started up when the tow truck driver tried it but it was running really hard. I tried it tow more times that night and it wouldn't start then it started a bit later and ran with no problem.

I recently got a tune up and new spark plugs installed. I have never had this issue before and wanted to know if anyone has had this issue and what was done to repair it.

Thanks and any help is greatly appreciated!!!

Any codes/check engine light? When you tried to restart was it just clicking or it was turning over and just wouldn't run?

The check engine light is not on that I can see, prior to it not starting there wasn't. However when the car starts it only runs for a few seconds and then cuts off then it wont cut back on.
It turns over but wont start or it start but only runs for a few seconds before cutting back off.

Thanks for responding

Karma for speeding?

I don't think so or at least I hope not LOL:p.... I do a lot of highway driving that causes me to speed up to pass other cars. I have driven at a fast pass in the past and never an issue.

Jiggle the MAF sensor connector and make sure the duct is properly attached to the TB and the clean PCV line is attached.

Possible fuel pump check fuel pressure too

I sort of ruled that out because it does start and I can hear the fuel pump kicking in when the key is turned. But I will give the pressure a check.
Thank you
