I had a great CTS-V test drive and I'm very interested in purchasing an '05 CTS-V. I've done a search and I'm having difficulty finding the GM SUPPLIER DISCOUNT (not employee) pricing for an '05 V. Would someone provide me the price I expect to pay using the GM SUPPLIER DISCOUNT? I want to walk into the dealership knowing what I'm going to be paying as opposed to them showing me a piece of paper with a number on it. Thanks for the help.

Last time someone looked into this, there were no discounts for the 'V' product line. Soft sales usually will change that within GM.

GM Supplier Discount IS authorized for the CTS-V for MY 05.

To get the GMS Price:

go to www.gmfamilyfirst.com

choose the 'search dealer inventory' option from the first pulldown. This will redirect you to a family/supplier version of GMBUYPOWER.COM.

Choose Cadillac, then '05 cts-v.
Select search dealer inventory again.
Enter your zip code.
Choose a dealer.
It will then show you what they have in stock and the MSRP(sticker) and GMS
prices.

I forget what the exact price difference percentage wise between GMS and Supplier. Find that number, and then multiply it by the GMS price.

Example output:

Ranking Matching Vehicles MSRP GMS Price

I know this isn't exactly what you were looking for, but it may help.

If not, do what I did, and mary the daughter of a GM employee ;)

See that, you should not listen to me..
All I know is when I got my 04, I was told no discounts since it was a brand new product.

Back in 04, GM wasn't allowing us dealers to sell V's at GMS, but now they are.

I'll get you the supplier price tomorrow at work and post it up for you.

Not true. I bought my '04 from DeLorean Cadillac in Cleveland, Ohio for GMS. This was on February 12th, 2004. I was the second V to register on the Caddy Faq's website. (second only to reed of course) I also received the $250 rebate that was available on ALL GM vehicles at the time. Nice loophole.

The supplier price for an '05 is

Redline with sunroof = $50,153
Black/Platinum with sunroof = $49,300
Black/Platinum with sunroof and FG2 = $50,288
Redline with sunroof and FG2 = $51,141

Can't find one without a sunroof but figure $1,000 less.
'04's figure $1,300 less due to gas guzzler tax and most likely cheaper due to dealer wanting to move it. My guess is $44-$45K.

They also have financing + $1,500 rebate

0% 36 mos.
2.9% 48 mos
3.9% 60 mos

Hope that helps,

Chris

Even if GMS or Supplier is available on a vehicle, it is up to each dealer if they want to sell it for that price. Some dealers do, some do not even understand the programs. The dealer must show you the invoice with the GMS: or SUPPLR: price printed on it if they participate in the program.

My issue was with the statement that GM would not allow dealers to sell @ GMS. This is not true. The CTS-V was ALWAYS eligible for GMS. The XLR and SSR were not. Once a vehicle is eligible for GMS pricing it is in fact up to the dealer to honor it or not. I will not do business with a dealer who will not honor GMS pricing.

Off the original subject, but to attest to the fact that there was some discounts honored for the 04', I was able to get $1,500 off by using my accrued GM Mastercard points... No dice on the GM loyalty discount however.

The GM Supplier prices listed above are correct. The two I have in stock are identical, $52,495 MSRP (sunroof only, no special paint) GM Supplier price of $49,297.11 printed on the invoice.

V series have been GMS and Supplier eligible from the start of production. In fact the very first one, second one, and fourth one we sold were GMS or supplier sales. 04 and 05 Models both. A number of members on this forum have purchased under these programs and can verify this. If you can't find one local, we do honor both programs. Have 2 black with roof and FG2 and one Platinum with roof and no shock package.

Last month there was a $1500 GM loyalty discount. All the dealers I talked to indicated that the $1500 would apply to the '04's. It's probabaly discount/program specific.
