Finding a few 500 ci motors on ebay for cheap. I'm thinking about my project, of building a blown 500. It's tempting to buy now and let the parts sit for a while, but I can't. Have to have money so I can move to a new apartment in a month. *whine* I want more money so I can do my car.

Eldo in 72 is FWD. Not goin that route. I want RWD or AWD. No front wheelers.

Hell...it must be a deville then...'tis definately rear wheel drive...I never really looked a the thing, drove it home, put a new drag link in it and parked it in my buddies back field to get it out of my driveway...I had too many projects laying around at the time, and had to get rid of it. Now, I just bought a '72 Challenger, so I hafta get rid of it, my 'ol dodge truck, my 'ol ford truck and maybe even the 'ol Desoto. :)

There ya go shadow! Take the Eldo/Deville whatever for the 500!

Well the engine itself is the same in either FWD Eldos or RWD cars. What tranny are you planning to use? If you get a RWD donor car it will have a TH400.

If the car is a 72 deville and it is the right engine in it, is it the 472 in it. Not a bad engine and easy to do to a to a 500 The Eldo had the 500 1972.
