: Thinking about getting a V

02-09-05, 05:03 PM
Well, I went to a Cadillac dealer last night without the intention of driving a CTS-V, but just to look. However, the salesman insisted that I drive it and now I'm hooked...

I currently own an 02 Z06 and since I'm moving into the city, I need to consolidate my 2 cars into one. My other car is a Saab 9-3 Arc.

I'm considering a lease on an 05 because a purchase is out of the question considering the financial hit Cadillac's take as soon as you drive them off the lot. In addition, I never keep my cars longer than a year or two.

What kind of lease quote should I expect to get? If anyone has recently leased an 05, could you post your details if you feel that you got a good deal. I just want something to base everything off of...

Thanks and all help is greatly appreciated.

I buy not lease so I can't help you . I suspect that may be the case with most others on the board.

Since no one has been able to give you a direct anwser, here are a few threads that should help you:

---How much did you pay for your V?---

---Anyone here have a lease?---

---Purchasing a V 101, old car to new car...---

The second and third links will probably help you more than the first. There's another thread on leasing, but I couldn't find it.

The GMAC rebates (CCR) on a lease are based on where you will register the vehicle. What is your state, county, zip code?

Chicago, IL
DuPage County

24 month x 12000 miles = 795 + tax per month
30 month x 12000 miles = 753 + tax per month
36 month x 12000 miles = 709 + tax per month
48 month x 12000 miles = 652 + tax per month
Due at signing = first payment, tax, title fee & doc fee.

Thanks FXDWG2...

To get those numbers, what discount has been applied to the car?

Man, I found, 359mo/23 mo, 2995 down +1500 if you're not an olds owner or US vet and 34k+ residual. That's in NY.

FYI, one of the great things about leasing is that if you wind up in a financial pickle and have to dump the car, you are left with payments and no car. I would never do it again. JMO:cookoo:

Wow. Get me the information on this dealer. I'd love to give them a call if this is legit.

Well, they came back with some pretty poor numbers in my mind.

Sale Price: 47,600
MF: 4.95

$770/month which includes 6.75% sales tax

I think I can do better than this...
