Well I started working on the coil conversion with my dad *Katshot* and we got them all done in around 2 1/2 hours and boy did it make a difference in how the cars looks but in my case how the car rides. As some of you know I was having a problem with my airbag suspension. Something was wrong with it and it caused the airbags to over inflate and then blew my struts. So instead of paying $1200 to get the fronts replaced I just did the conversion and it is worth every penny! So I have some before and after pics. But enough with the talking here's the before & after pics. Enjoy!

good work. where did you get that kit? i want to get that done to my 95 Continental. the bags blew out on it a long time ago and i just got some new ones but the guy who installed them said they wouldnt last too long. he said that i could blow through 3 or 4 new ones until i get one that works. he has put them in but he didnt know where the kits came from.

That one little upgrade will extend the usable life of that Lincoln by 50 percent. Most of those end up trashed over air bag failures. My brother had his replaced in 2003 and they were ok up until I traded the car in last month. The only thing I noticed is the car still seems like its sitting just a tad lower than normal, could just be an illusion I dont know.

This is the same place I got my kit from. They are great. Great customer service and quick shipping. I would recommend these guys to anybody. But the ride of the car is just as good if not better then the airbags. But the beauty of it is they are a shit load cheaper then having to keep on replacing the airbags. Next thing I will want to do is get the sway bar for the car because all the guys said that the car turns into a totally different car with the sway bar added.

Yeah, the car definitely seems to be lower, which to me is a nice bonus.

The kit is supposed to be a 1.5" drop from the stock ride height. But I found out today that some places have a hard time doing alignments on them
