well, like my recent thread (still looking for more opinions there :))
i got my nail holes fixed, and rotated my tires.
While off, cleaned and Rejex'd everything.
I have 2 more nails in another tire  but it isn't leaking.

As you can see....the fronts still had TONS of center tread left. So maybe i can get another 4K before all 4 are totally bald. But I'm going to have to see how she handles with the worn center ones up front....i think i felt her push for the first time ever today while test driving her. hmmm...

Nevermind, my V is clean now. It's 55 here today; good day to wash cars.

Too bad I've got the Dunlop winter tires on, I feel like cranking some 80s metal and sliding around some corners. :lildevil:

That's what I've been doing today - but only 30 degrees out, sandy roads and GSD3's :burn:

We finally got some good weather here in Maine. Today was the first time the V has been out of the garage since the day after I bought it. I have been wanting to wash it so I can start putting some wax on her, but it has been to damn cold. I got home from work today and it was in the 50's, seemed like a great time to give her a bath.. Tomorrow before the SuperBowl I am going to put the B&B on, I can't wait to hear her..

Here are a couple pics after her first bath.

First off, i must say that i noticed the Corsa on the car :coolgleam . Bill, I noticed that your car has a different engine cover than the one it came with stock. Did you get it from your dealer as an option since it seems that you haven't done too much to it if you've only taken it out for a day?

V Power,

They are z06 fuel rail covers modified by Stealth V engineering. That is the way the LS6 should look. Check out Stealth V's site, he has some very nice products and real good instructions. Plus by getting rid of the big Cadillac engine cover you can get some of the heat out of there.
I hope to have quite a few mods on her when she comes out of the garage in the Spring, and she will still only have 116 miles on her then..:burn:

Urb, Did you jack up the rear at the jack points from the service manual, or did you put the floor jack under the pumpkin and jack from there (with a 2x4 under the pumpkin?)? My first rotation was done at the dealer, but it is getting close to time to do it again and since I thankfully have no need to go to the dealer, I will do it in my garage.

I don't want to bend, break, or crack anything.....

yeah, i jacked up the a$$ end at the jack points, ahead of the rear wheels, then threw the jack stands under a sturdy looking piece of frame rail.
Fronts i just jacked up at the jack points.
To be honest, there is some pretty strong looking frame-type rails under there (yes i know it's a unibody) so if you jack anywhere along them I doubt you'll break anything.
