Hi all...

Just bought a brand new 13' cts v sedan. Looking for an intake and heard of air raid as the one to go with.

Does anyone currently own a 2013 and have put the air raid cia on their ride?

I want to make sure nonissues with your the sensors/fitment etc.

Thanks

Not a 2013 but I've got one...and love it. It's not the only kid on the block but it works well.

5000 miles with an AirAid on a 2013 Wagon. No issues, including some track days.

I was going to go with an Airaid 100%, but I came across a great deal on a D3 CAI that I couldn't pass up...installed easily, no tune need...feels and sounds great...much more whine. Love it!

2013 V coupe with a little under 4k miles w/Airaid. Noticeable HP increase and SC whine. No issues. Love it!

I had an Airaid on my 2009 V that I transferred to my 2013 V wagon. No issues, no muss, no fuss, just wonderful, gorgeous supercharger whine. 9000 miles with the setup on the 2013 so far.

Autoeverything had the Air Raid setup.

Ordered it.

Cost $298 shipped. Crazy cheap for the anticipated HP/Torque gains.

13 V sedan and no issues here after 2000 kms, I can't speak of any hp increase as I installed it the day after I got the car lol.

Just installed Airaid and a Borla and couldn't be happier. I just turned 600 miles so she's not even broken in yet, can't wait to really get on it. The whine from the S/C is now noticable. At first I was a bit disappointed with the sound from the Borla, but after a few miles, I have come to accept that they made it with a very "adult" sound. I'm okay with that.....some day I'll act like an adult too.....maybe

If you like the sound of the Airaid now, when you are ready, swap out the filter for the larger, better flowing K&N cone filter. It is much more Voupe sounding!

Mr. Hyde, so the Borla is too tame for you?

Just an update. I installed the Air Raid CAI. It's really got a noticeable HP increase, although my caddy only has 500 miles on her so not sure if that's me or the CAI. Love the air raid. Thanks for the input guys!

Next is the exhaust! Which one??????

FYI - autozone carries the Airaid online. If anyone is ordering one, there is a $25 gift card for every $100 spend promo going on right now. You can buy the CAI for $340 and get $75 back (free shipping).

It looks like a deal that's hard to beat.

I can't buy an Airaid now if Autozone sells it. No Pep Boy level parts on my car. Guess I have to go D3.

J/K, I still want it.

It's only online, and honestly I was surprised too: doesn't come in neon blue and there's no chrome accents - WTF?

You can redeem yourself by spending the gift cards on some pimp Always-at-Autozone dual-blade wipers for your V (not very closely matching the exterior color, of course) and later spring for the D3 fog lamp assemblies so people know you're a real baller. :D

If it makes you feel any better, you're setting down three bills for a plastic tube with a MAF sensor mount on it.

Has anyone any experience with the Halltech, APE, or New Era CAI's? I think the looks of the Airaid installed is certainly less appealing than these others. But looks aren't everything. Any feedback would be appreciated. Cheers,

i've had my airraid sitting in a box since I bought my used car. The guy had bought it but not installed. I would install it but it is not CARB compliant. Anyone here in California run the Air Raid? What are the pitfalls besides SMOGing of course?

About 10k miles on mine. I doubt it gives any performance improvement, but the SC whine is a nice touch.

very rarely it seems................

I guess it's time to attempt an install. I thought bout putting a V sticker on it to make it look more stock... maybe it'll pass smog that way ;)?
I just hope nothing drops into that stupid engine bay again =/

i cut the bottom of my stock box and tunneled a custom ram air dam up. The supercharger is def louder and the Ass-o-meter can be felt for sure. It was all done by me for under $10 :) and less then an hour

airaid shows both of these part numbers, 250-253 and 251-253 as being for the 2009-2013 (and therefore 2014) cts-v...anyone know what the difference is?

unfortunately, on their site "cadillac" isn't an option in the search box...

Well, I found my own answer, but that did prompt a follow-up question...apparently "250" is the oiled option, "251" is the dry...any recommendations?

I got my 250 model today.

Age old dilema. Some people say the oil can cause problems with the map/maf sensor. Typically the only problems people usually have with that is after they clean them for the first time and the OVER oil them and sucks onto maf sensor throwing codes. If it is cleaned, dried and then just coated with oil like you are supposed to it wont cause problems. Oiled of course traps more dirt. Dry will flow better in beggining slightly then oiled but once they are dirty are the same. Dry you can blow out with compressed air once or twice but then needs replacement. I guess its just your preference. Either will work fine. I went with oiled. On my Diesel I have a dry filter. Go figure !

I bought my Airaid cai direct from them because they made me a blue synthamax filter to match my opulent blue coupe at no extra charge.
Easy install and it runs and sounds great and the folks at Airaid were great to work with. Borla sport axle back to be installed shortly.

Please post the results of your Borla. I am interested in that set up too, but it seems many here go with the Corsa.
