We're almost ready to release these, I've got 2 going to Trifecta this week for them to test out and get before/after dyno numbers of a M6 RWD and A6 AWD car. Sound clip!

This will be offered as a turbo back OR cat back and will be full stainless steel. (yes, that means we also have a downpipe almost ready to go!)

I'm American, just over in Korea for a year. I'm in the Air Force. Looking to get some mods on my mid tour, just needing some prices to save towards.

Count me in for the exhaust and downpipe. Also can't wait for the CAI.
Let us know when you get the good word from trifecta and you have ready for shipment.

Myself I prefer stock exhausts with catless downpipes:)

You should swing by the factory and check them out.

BNR - does this system remove the mid cat, I don't see it? If so does your DP also remove the cat or are you going to offer a catted DP also?
Thanks

Okay, just so I'm not missing anything here.......

"We're almost ready to release these, I've got 2 going to Trifecta this week for them to test out and get before/after dyno numbers of a M6 RWD and A6 AWD car. Sound clip!"

This is obviously for the 2.0 Turbo but are you only testing the V6 3.6 configurations?

I would be interested in knowing your center pipe inside diameter. Pictures are deceiving, so I'm assuming you maintained the stock 3" diameter spec. Could you confirm?

Nice system. Target release date (as opposed to very soon)?

Thanks.

Stock exhaust piping is 3"? That doesn't sound right. Are you sure? I'd bet the stock exhaust isn't any larger than 2.5".

It removes the mid cat, and we will be offering a catless or high flow cat in the DP. Pics-

We're almost ready to release these
Any word on availability? You said I'm first on the list for the highflow cat version.

You have a PM.

Also, we are finally ready to price these out- $1600 for turbo back catless, $1900 for turbo back with a high flow cat. Prices include shipping to the lower 48 (keep in mind this stuff is really heavy and costs over $200 to ship)

Taking pre-orders now, just shoot me a PM.

Oof!!! Might need to hold off for a bit. That's about double what I was expecting. APR in the audi world ain't even that expensive and that have some expensive stuff.

i really don't think we're going to be seeing a $800.00 exhaust including a downpipe and shipping. i could be wrong though.

sounds great - good work bnr! it's not easy making a 4 cylinder car sound good.

Nite_Hawk

Not saying $800 system, maybe around $1100-1200 for entire system.

the magnaflow may end up being closer to that range.

Under $2K shipped for a turboback with a cat is very competitive pricing for a car of this type. Infact when I had my head set on a Focus ST, that was about what it cost for a full system for that $30K hatch.

I'm excited to see your doner car is a 6L45E too.

will tip fitment be a bit better for production models? :bouncy:

BNRacing
07-12-13, 05:44 PM
Yes actually- we found out after the shop did the install for that customer that they didn't push in the slip fit portion all the way- it was about an inch out. Once it was pushed in all the way it fit much better.

Is the exhaust made of 304 stainless steel? I gotta say the welds on this piece look pretty nice!

is there an option without the DP? Also what are the weight savings?
