Anyone know where I can buy an STS-V hood for a reasonable price? Salvage with a couple dings would be ok. The car is in the body shop anyway.
Any input would be much appreciated!!!!

It's fiberglass. You won't find one with dings. Cracks possibly. I found one from a forum member who had a minor accident. Repaired it and have to get it painted still.

Wouldn't even think of the cost to ship it. I drove 8 hours away to go pick it up. I didn't intend on selling it but $ talks.

Hmmm I would have thought it was aluminum.

So are the trunk lids fiberglass also, I've noticed that magnets don't stick to the trunk at all. What is it made of?

I know that is aluminum based on the holes I drilled in the lid for the spoiler.

I got mine online from a salvage shop, just went to one of the partfinder sites, got three hits of who had them, took the one closest. Shipping wasn't bad at all. Good luck! Kath
