I wanted to clean my suede steering wheel but am concerned about general cleaning products. I don't want to discolor or ruin the material but it needs disinfecting and cleaning bad. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Just to get you started. There are probably a few more threads on the subject.

I bought the foam type cleaner & a sponge as suggested by others.

Works like a champ on the wheel/shifter & Safron inserts on the Recaro's. They don't get soaked, & I micro-fiber towel dried them & just for good measure I let it dry 24 hrs before driving agian. Note: my wheel/shifter/seat inserts were not very soiled but I figured to stay ahead of the game. Looks like Factory Fresh again. Took my all of 1/2 hr. (yah I'm slow)
