I took my 1995 Fleetwood brougham to get breaks done and when they pulled it out of the garage the back end is sitting real high. never had a problem before and they have no idea what could have happened. I have heard of the rear leveling compressor going out and the back end sagging but I am at a loss about this. can any one help me out please????

They broke/disconnected/bumped the arm that attaches to the level ride sensor. On the bottom of the car, above the axle center section. Sensor is telling the compressor that that car is low all the time.

Just a guess...

Sensor will look something like this (this one is not connected, look at the shiny knob):

Should have an arm connected to the knob, and the other end connected to the rear end housing:

when my switch on the axel went bad, it done just what your saying, i took the rod off and moved it up and down and all it did in both positions was keep raising the car till the shocks maxed out...you can try to adjust it, me personaly i just ripped the compressor out and ran it how it is, next time im under the car, the switch will disappear to
