my parents have a 99 deville, and as of late from a stop the car seems to wanna stall until about 20mph. and at anything less it feels like the car is fighting back and not wanting to go, it kicks and jolts and whatnot.

today on the way to my brothers hockey game, they asked if i wanted to drive. naturally i said yes. coming to the highway i decided to pull the 80mph in 2nd gear dealy. having such power/torque im not THAT impressed with the acceleration, but when i put this sucker in 2nd and got on it...wow, just wow.

needless to say it hit 80 with ease, much fun.:thumbsup:

Any codes? Sounds like MAP sensor. Have you checked the fuel filter, air filter, the easy things first?
