I live in CO. and am having a hard time deciding whether to put a clear bra on my 2010 DTS. It is that beautiful White Diamond color and was just purchased in "Cherry Condition". I have had clear bras on both my STS and CTS and had mixed feelings about doing this. Sometimes the coloring on the clear bra's seem to fade to a non clear look. But I do wish to keep the car in its Cherry condition and have been told this would be an advisable step to take.....but with this color?

Any suggestions or thoughts

Is this a full piece bra or is it the stick on kind, I didn't think they made the full ( like fabric bra for our DTS ). Mine is Diamond Pearl, would love to protect it but have the same Yellowing concerns I think you do.

I have it on mine....been on it since new... Just starting to notice it discoloring a little but.
The 3M brand has a lifetime warranty against discoloring...
Reckon it's about time to see if the warranty is any good...

Personally, I don't like them. Even when not discolored, they're slightly visible. I'd rather pay to have the nose of the car reprinted every 5-10 years, IF necessary.

If, however, I lived somewhere where stone chips were more of a problem, I'd probably consider it.

I can't see the "bra coating" or any discoloration in the photo. How far up the hood does it go?

It goes across the hood about 2 inch past the headlights, towards the windshield.
Those pics were taken last June... it is a little bit more noticeable now.
It isn't BADLY discolored... just a real, real, light yellowing of the bra material... but "I" can see it... :)

Went ahead and did it. I was informed by Cad dealers out in CO that to not do it would be a HUGE mistake. The previous bras I had were fine for years as long as nothing was put on them, especially scrub brushes and such.....and yes, the dealer warranties it for life. Thanks
