check it out...

the work to the engine dosn't seem extreme at all... 500 with ported 425 heads which brought the compression to 9.4:1, modified exhaust manifolds.... and the 125shot of nitrus.

he said it ran a 13.89 *with the stock 2.28 rear end* (no Posi either)

that is unbelieveable!.... sure the niturs did help, but I bet that without the nitrus that car would be atleast a solid mid 14s car.... and from the description, nothing on the enigne seemed too extreme.... and... the 2.28 rear, that is very impresive...

makes me think my goal of low 15's/*maybe* high 14's from the 425 without removing the heads will not be so hard afterall.....

DUUUDE i saw that on ebay the other day i wish he would have had more pics on there. I think it looks awsome and by the sounds of it it prolly drives awsome too. i like that he painted the bumpers. usually i think it looks dumb but on that car with that color it really looks sweet. i didn't think it said anything about it being chopped but that is one thing that would be awsome to do with that year coupe deville. it would make it look a lot more sleek and like a road bullet.

that is what i'd like to do one day. have a big block 500 in a late 70's coupe deville, chop the top, trans brake, or even a 6spd? hmmmm, then have it all lowered and bagged and have a flame thrower kit on it to shoot flames out the back. have like some sort of dark metal flake paint job and 50's style pin stripeing all over, and of course tinted windows. man that would be the ultimate cadillac. make it kinda a newer style old lead sled. :D
