: 2012 CTS wagon cargo net and cover included when new?

So I just purchased my wagon new. It is a 2012, but new. When I returned home I found that there is no owners manual, so the dealer has ordered me one. I ask about the cargo net and cargo cover and they said that it was an option and should not have come with it... All the other new wagons I that I looked at had this.

I purchased over the internet and flew 600 miles to pick it up and drove it back in one day. So I didn't check out the interior as I was in a hurry to hit the road!

Thanks, Randy

Any help on this? The dealer told me that it would have been listed on the window sticker, but I feel like I'm getting the run around!

Ask any GM dealer to run a build sheet and print out a copy. This will list every option and part put on your car. If the net and cover are listed then you should have them. They may be listed as dealer installed but should still be on the build sheet. You can also try to find a 2012 brochure and see what it says about those items

The dealer is right. Check the window sticker. If the net is on the sticker, he owes you one.

The security cover is part of the Luxury 1 Package. I have the Luxury 2 Package and I had to buy mine, $250 after I purchased the car new. It was not included.

Hello rdomeck,

JohninBC is correct the cargo net and the cargo cover are part of the luxury level one package. I can run your VIN and see if you are supposed to have it included on your vehicle. Private message me your VIN and I would be happy to look for you.
