Yep, I am, no you dont want to be! I am a Cadillac technician, specializing in driveability, electrical, and most everything else except engine internal and auto transmission. I have worked in a dealership since 1987. I hope to be able to share information with all you caddy lovers. Yall might even teach me something!:worship:

Cool, I have the interior dash lights going in and out on me. Just the DIC and dash lights not the interior lighting. Can't seem to find any loose wires and I've looked all over. Any suggestions? Im real good with a wrench but leave something to be desired in the electrical department.

Digital cluster or analog? Either way it sounds internal to the cluster. Any codes?

It's always great to welcome a new Cadillac Tech on board! Welcome! And thank you for signing up! Even though we've got so many members here, Cadillac techs are few and far between. With over 20,000 members, things tend to get a bit wild at times - it's hard to avoid - but I hope you stick around and enjoy your experiences around here... :)

Well, the info read(DIC) out is digital but the gauges(Speedo AND Tach) are analog. Anyway I pulled some fuses this weekend and didn't find any blown. Now everything lights as it should. I don't really think its fixed but it is working for now!!??

Welcome Cadillactech! If you like the forum, please recommend the "heavy-duty", internal engine and transmission guy to us. I have some engine and driveline issues that will boggle the mind!
