The weather finally warmed up and I was able to replace my grille emblem.

I got it as a Birthday gift back in March and have been dying to put it on! LOL

Funny thing is that I don't recall it being so faded before. Then one day I just happened to see how the red was all faded. The trunk one is still nice and colorful.
So I don't think it is sun faded.

Installation is easy. These are peel and stick emblems. Just use a flat bladed screw driver to carefully pry off the old one. Use a razor blade to remove any stickum that was left behind. Two pins on the back of the emblem ensure you place it correctly.

Mine looked the same on my 06. Just taped it off & repainted it with my Red tintcoat touch up.

Hey HardfordGuy, the front grille with the new emblem looks like new. I know that you got the Grille Emblem as a Birthday gift but I am just curious about the cost and the place where your other half got it from.

Thanks

I've seen them on Ebay for around $70 bucks. Check with Chris here at the forum. He works at a Caddy dealer and can quote you a price.

Look in the website for the eBay store of BiggDaddyCaddy. 40+ pages of Cadillac emblems and stuff.

I converted my 2002 STS back to the "ducks" with the pre-2000 wreath.

I bought the Stand-up hood ornament from BigDaddyCaddy. Very easy people to deal with. But that was another thread. LOL
