The FAQ is a little confusing regarding the oil drain plug washer. Is this washer permanantly fixed to the plug or does it get replaced every time you do an oil change? If it does get changed, will a place like PepBoys have this part or do I need to go to the dealer? Thanks,

Eric

I've changed my oil 3 times already, and it's really simple to use a small screwdriver to get the old washer off. :)

After countless oil changes on LSx engines, I've never replaced the washer. No shoes, no shirt, no problems. :cowboy:
