I have the temperature displayed on the top line of my screen, which is what I want. When it goes near freezing, I get the gray "ice possible" screen and hit "OK" and the screen goes back to normal.... but sometimes, the top line where I have the temperature displayed then saids "ice possible" and nothing I can do will bring the temperature reading back unless I restart the car.... anyone else have this experience.... I just want to get rid of the "ice possible" from the top line:rofl: !

I get the "Ice possible" warning light all the time but never had it appear on the top line. :hmm:

Yep, I ran into the same thing. I, too, found that I needed to restart the car to get it to go away. I attributed it to a bug in the system since I don't see it that often. Don't know what the solution is or why it happened, but at least you know it happened to others.

Tie a snow shovel to the hood and start driving south until someone asks, "What the hell is that thing.".

Me too! I wish the headlamps on and ice warnings could be removed without a visit to the dealership.

I have gotten the "ice possible" screen a lot lately, but I haven't had it stick like you have. I have however had "competition mode" stick in the same spot where the temperature or whatever info you have at the top of the screen normally is. That happened to me for the first time yesterday. Who knows why?????

It's funny b/c my little girl thinks it's great to see that "ice is possible"! Then I remind her that we see it once every 3 years (ie, twice in her lifetime so far)... for about 30 mins. Thank you, Mr V, for getting my girls hopes up every morning (btw, 35 is the magic number)

When it's -40F or colder you can take a cup of hot water out your back door and throw the water into the air. None of it will touch the ground and it makes a very interesting noise.

I was stationed in Adak, Alaska. It was so cold, that while walking to the next building, our conversations would freeze in the air. Later, when the temperature warmed above about -10F, you could hear what was said.
