Is this a fair price for this vehicle?

If everything works, it may not be too bad based on what some of our Canadian members say about prices north of the border.

I do love my 1SG.

One of the pictures looks like the headlight lenses are glazed or have condensation. Check the 'Sticky' thread at the top of the forum for common weaknesses.

You might be sorry you asked that question, oldcaddybuyer. :)

They're only offering me $2K on my trade, an 03 with every option except TPMS and only 169,00 kilometers. However that said, I've put so much $$ into the car and now it needs new struts and shocks that I am just tired of all the repairs. I am scared of selling it privately, did you hear the story of the guy who went out on a test drive a couple of weeks ago and they found his burned body a week later? http://ca.news.yahoo.com/blogs/dailybrew/tim-bosma-murder-suspect-mark-smich-162553578.html

Looks nice (from pictures), has all the 'goodies', and if you're trading your '03; shouldn't be too much out of pocket (to you). The earlier years did have some issues (but by the time they've accrued that many miles), surely they have been addressed.

STS Platinum

The STS Platinum sedan extends the luxurious look and feel of the STS with elements such as 18-inch chrome-finish wheels; a brighter chrome-finish grille; a Glacier Gold exterior finish; bright chrome inserts on the exterior door handles and Platinum badging.

On the inside, STS Platinum features hand-cut, sewn and wrapped instrument panel, door trim and center console areas. The seats are fully leather, a semi-aniline variety called Tuscany. Luxury touches include chrome accents on the instrument panel and doors, a leather-wrapped and heated steering wheel, olive ash burl wood accents with a saddle-stained shade, premium floor mats and a Platinum badge of the door sill. STS Platinum comes in either a Cocoa over Cashmere or an Ebony interior color scheme.

The Cadillac STS Platinum will be available in the first quarter of 2007, in either the V-6 or Northstar V-8-powered versions of the car.

The dealership with the 05 STS would wholesale my car and that's what they are offering him. I'd be taking a huge hit based on all the $$ I've spent in this car. Canadianblackbook.com says this is the correct value of the car with the mileage and options I have.

No
I think they are about $4000 high on price
Did you do a vin search?
Where is the vehicle from?
I read Toronto is hard on cars.
No because until I know how much I can get for mine it's not worth the effort of doing research on the 05 because it may not be economically feasible for me.

Yes the potholes and condition of the streets in this city are ABOMINABLE.

You can put passives on your magnetic ride control Seville STS. I've played with and bypassed it similar to the 4,7k ohm resistor bypass for the older cvrss bypass.
