The latest issue of Road & Track talked about the 2007 Cadillac BTS-V.

This "Cadillac" would use the Saab 9-3 chassis wth awd and would only be sold in Europe.

How is making a Cadillac out of a Saab going to impress Europeans who don't think too highly of Cadillac?

Is there anyone else besides me who thinks that is a bad idea?

If Cadillac Lutz wants to sell more Cadillacs in Europe, going through Saab isn't the way to do it.

It just depends. As long as it does not have any saab hints in it at all! I may be okay with it. My question is why arent the American cars good enough?

It isn't that the CTS isn't good enough, it is that some think the CTS should be smaller for the European market.

Anyone else?
