No one? Really? Looks like I give this the old college try and see what happens. The most obvious roadblock will be finding a suitable location to "hide" the V1 unit. It looks like they are usually installed inside the center rear headrest, but that's obviously not an option with the V.
Installed many stealth radar systems years ago... Since there is so much laser out here, it hasn't been top of mind lately... What's your question about the install?
i just paid a 200 dollar ticket for just having the V1 mounted in the car not even turned on or plugged in so i am also looking for stealth ways to install it
Wow, you live in VA? Is it illegal just to own a detector?
I have my blendmount with my V1 tucked tightly under my mirror so it is somewhat hidden from view as it looks like one big, massive mirror to the casual eye. I ran the remote to my steering column so only I can see it and not some wanker from behind who ends up following me and tailgating for miles on the Interstate. The V1 main unit stays black with no lights as long as the remote is plugged into it.

Any chance you could post a pic for us to see and consider? I too am wanting hidden system, but not quite ready for the remote mount price tag. That's a nice hp upgrade, lol.
So I've decided to pull the trigger on this project. I'm going with an Escort 9500ci as opposed to the V1. I'm on the fence about doing the install myself. I know it'll be a difficult project, any advice or recommendations on doing the install in the garage.
