Hi, I was wondering if anybody had experience replacing 06 STS all rotors and brake pads. How much will dealership ask for? My car currently has 66 K on it. Thanks.
For my 06 STS with ther perf. brakes option it would be approx. $475-$500 to replace all 4 rotors/pads, plus another $15 for a 12 pack of some Summit EPA or something...Sure beats a stealership visit.
Also...You can't tell me that you don't know someone capable of doing a disc brake job? It's not rocket science. Remove wheel, remove caliper, remove rotor...put on new rotor, put on new pads, put caliper back on, put the wheel back on...Enjoy a cold one.
Was that for all 4?
Even so that seems high to me.
I was quoted $375 for fronts installed by my caddy dealer.
I have the mid-level performance brakes (non-brembo).
Napa auto parts Is where I buy most of my parts. They have differance grade of rotor and pads. Last time it cost around $400. and that with rotors & ceramic pads for all 4 wheels. Danny
I'd also check out rock auto. I have bought a lot of parts from them. Good prices and quick shipping.
