FYI: "Real world" pictures of the third generation CTS Sedan. Apparently, some dealers have a 2014 CTS on display already, as shown at this link--but the ad says, "Taking orders." Here is the link:

The front end looks great, and I love the interior. Im not too crazy about the side profile though. They should of gave it a sportier stance. Maybe the wheels throw it off.
This car is awesome as is! I think they did a great job.

It's surprising the trunk has those large, intrusive-type hinges, but apparently they cost less to build. I will probably get this next--but I'm still disappointed the side view resembles an E-Class too much--and maybe this will be different when viewed "in-person." I'm anxious to see a 2014 CTS Sedan in the flesh!
I think the new CTS looks great. My only disappointment is that they stretched the car (some) but didn't increase interior volume (seating or trunk); missed opportunity IMO, and perhaps had they used struts (gas) in the trunk, they could have upped the volume enough to have claimed some bragging rights over the competition. Still a great car though.

How can a dealership have a car in it's showroom that hasn't even been released yet. According to Cadillac's website it wil be out in the fall.

It was easy, they brought it there.

This is probably a pilot run vehicle. 2 things I wish it had was a bit more rear seat leg room since it is a longer vehicle and an 8 speed automatic available across all powertrain combinations.

At the risk of being in contention with most of this forum.
Cadillac interiors need to be improved. Especially the centre stack. I sat in a ATS at a car show. The stack is cheap and plasticky. Too much gloss and sheen. The CTS interior is delivering the same. Come on cadillac you can do better. It's not like I am buying a cheap Dell computer or something.
My friend had a ATS for a rental and loved the interior but hated the head unit. He said cue was annoying almost as bad as BMW I drive
Don't like it at all. Though the seats look like they have more padding.

Like the front.. the rear just seems lke a regular CTS was rear ended by a truck or something. Those lights...:suspect:
They should of went with a leaner light like on the XTS, the taillights are too wide. They should of made them leaner like the headlights
