which is better for our cars? currently i have a 2.55 pulley, timmyc intake, gutted cats and muffler delete.

looking at one of these two options for next round:

option ONE.
d3 lower, new smaller upper and deka 60s

option TWO.
timmyc headers, MAYBE smaller upper and deka 60s

looking to keep price at or below 1500 total, both are close, option one is a few hunderd less than option two. not sure which is a better route though. ALL will be done, just want to start planning alil better than the frist time. lol

Tim is working on a crank pulley so hold off on giving d3 your money. I have timmy 2.4 pulley, headers, throttle body, and heat exchanger and they are all awesome just have to get it retuned.

My old numbers with d3 stage 1&2 intake, no cats, and tims 2.55 pulley made 441 hp with a tune from jesse. I've added timmys 2.4 pulley, throttle body, and heat exchanger but havent had it retuned by jesse Yet. Car drives fine no issues with timmys products happy customer here.

I also have had great success with Tims products as well. I have headers/intake/throttle body/heat exchanger/flushmount snout/ 2.44 upper with corsa axel back along with his tune. Tim has been 100% honest about all parts and has great customer service along with a full understanding of his parts. Go with Tim.. if your unsatisfied you might be UN American lol jk. i have tims stuff on it now. not concerned about that, i want to know if i should boost more or do the exhuast setup. same cost either way not sure which will get more gains.

You should do injectors big heat exchanger then smaller pulley. In that order.

not arguing mad, just asking. why do you suggest that over headers? i am good with that option, saves lots of money. lol. just curious where the logic is coming from.

I'm still basically stock with the V, but on my GTP, I did the supporting mods first. Headers, intake, TB, IC upgrades, and injectors. Once that was done, then I increased blower speed. I don't know which was better, but this felt 'safer'

I too am an Ex GTP owner and was extremely modded. My Cardomain still has my GTP on it.

I just looked at another members log file and he is running 80* above ambient for his IAT2 temps and he was not pushing it hard. So cooling mods are important. Especially when increasing boost. I have a 2.4 pulley and run 20-30* above ambient for IAT2 crusing. With ambient temps 100-105* I only see 140-160* for temps during WOT runs and I can run back to back with only a minute or two of cool down because the upgrades work very well. Take care of your cooling to support the added boost.

i will be getting the upgraded intercooler pump this sunday, then prolly picking up the heat xchanger also. if i do the pump, xchanger and the siemens injectors and 2.4 pulley that would be a godo route? im looking for bang for buck here, tired of just dropping money and not doing it correctly.

Yep ^^ what they said you can make 20 psi and still not make good power if you over heat all the time. And at this point you might only pick up 5-10 hp with headers over what you have now. Do headers last.

I have the Imarine pump sitting on the shelf waiting to order my fmhe. Previous post said remove 3 bolts to reclock the housing but the 3 bolts on mine are just an impeller cover. If you use that pump, take some pics for the rest of us if you could.

i will be using the same pump that gizmo uses in his xlr, as the pump is coming from him. lol. i think its a mizere or something like that.

Gotcha. I run the Meziere on my Fiero, but wanted to give the Jabsco a try. I'll look into it more once I get around to it.

You need to look up where some one did a right up on all the pumps that people use on the Ctsv. And how good the are when under the pressure of the cooling system. Your better off not wasting your money on that pump. The best pump they tested was the zr1 but the best bang for the buck was the zl1. Look it up very informative.

+1 for the Jabsco 50840-0012. That is what I have and very happy with the purchase. However I have heard good things about the Meziere WP136S. I would have gone that route but I paid $150 for my Jabsco.....
