How many people on here own a 90' - 92' Cadillac Brougham 5.7L V8 ?

How do you guys mechanically look after them
Fuel type, oil's, fluids, etc

I use nothing but the very best
Premium Unleaded, Penrite (Premium Australian Engine Oils), Penrite fluids, BOSCH Ir-Fusion spark plugs, BOSCH ignition leads, etc

I got a 90 brougham delegance with the 5.7.

I don't drive the car too much but I still keep up with the maintenance.

I was told by previous owner that he used synthetic engine oil so I kept with that (I did not want to switch back & forth).

-Engine oil & filter change every 3 to 4 months. I usually use mobile 1, valvoline, or castryol. (I do my self)
-Tranny fluid flush once a year (done by Cadillac dealer)
-Coolant change every 2 years (I do this service)
-spark plugs (ac delco rapid fire), distributor cap & rotor every 2 years (I do this one also)
-engine air filter as needed
-fuel injection service & fuel filter every 2 to 3 years(done by dealer)
-brake fluid change once a year(done by dealer)

I use 87 octane has for this car.

I also do the same for my 85 fleetwood brougham with the 4100, except on that one I use conventional engine oil.

I have a 350 in my brougham....I just follow normal service intervals for fluid changes (and use regular oil not synthetic) and run regular fuel in it (premium won't really help it do anything better).

This thread really needs some pictures :)

"Premium" fuel is not "better" fuel. It is just different.
Use the formulation that your car is designed to run on. In your case, 87 Octane.
