Guys - Cleveland area guy here looking for a reference check on Smokey's. Anyone worked with them? They're recommending 2.5" pulley, belt and tune for $1100 out the door claiming ~65 HP gain and 1-2mpg. Thoughts?

Hmm - sounds like you think they're a little high. What do you think of the HP/MPG claim?

Sorry it was a spell check correction on my phone that did that.

the last sentence was supposed to say a few hours, meaning about 4 hours.

So there is nothing wrong with that price. It is competitive.

Everyone charges different per hour of labor and for the tuning they do.

Yes they are in line with the horsepower claims.

As for the others that are posting about loosing warranty on the car.... Did he ask you if he was going to loose it? So, therefore do you think it was worth the wasted post saying those things???? I think the forum needs just a separate thread that all the people that just want to talk about that kind of thing can go hang out in...

If someone asks a simple question, why not just give the correct simple answer.. Things would go a lot better around here if that where the case..
