??? With enough time, research and money ANYTHING is possible in the automotive world.

Witness the 472 RWD Deville and the 11-second turbo FWD STS posted in these forums many times.

Back in the Dark Ages I swapped a 1935 Ford V-8 60 flathead into a 1953 MG TD. Ever seen a 1953 Oldsmobile sedan with a 1680 hp Allison V-12 aircraft engine in it ??? Been done. Remember the 1964 - 1967 Sunbeam Tiger ?? A Sunbeam Alpine with a small Ford V-8 stuffed in.

That is the sign of a sick, sick mind!
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I think the emphasis should on getting the weight out of our current pig cars ..... but it seems that adding horsepower is easier.

The FWD STS was naturally aspirated...no S/C

No, it was turbocharged.
No way a N* is going 11's without a power-adder.

I know it was turbo'ed....blueangel said he thought it was S/C too (that would be the rwd sts-v, not the fwd sts.)

Turbo is not naturally aspirated. (just to clear it up)

It was actually directed at the camaro in the video, it has huge twin turbos AND a supercharger, I would think it would blow the heads off the motor, would call for some serious mods in the head bolts. Didn't think the combo could be done.

Is too. I would know!

Obviously, the ridiculously overboosted Camaro wouldn't have more than 6:1 compression and no more than 2000 HP. Nitro Hemis are makin' 10,000 HP and stay together(most of the time). That's mind boggling.

Not so - the car used a single divorced turbocharger - very, very, very custom trick install with power management. Call up past posts for Mark99STS.

Sub, I believe that cadillac kevin thought that this post:

Always thought the turbo and the supercharger would conflict.... Btw The MG must have flew... Lol was referring to Mark's Seville. BlueAngel was talking about the car in the link in post #1.

And I think cadillac kevin meant that a stock STS is N/A.
