: I got hit

I don't post much, but thought I would share this. I've heard stories of cars getting hit in parking lots and jerks who hit the car would leave the scene. Last night I went to the movies. I was walking to the rear of my car and noticed a truck had parked kind of close in front of me. So I walked to the front of my car and noticed this truck used my car as a parking stop. Oh man was I heated, then realized the truck that hit my car was still there. So I took a few pictures before I moved my car. I released the parking brake and my car moved back a little. The tow hook pushed into my license plate holder causing my grill insert to pop out of its groove and scratched the paint. By judging what his license plate looks like, they have hit a thing or two. At least this time they got caught! 107544

Same ****ing thing happened to me last week in my schools parking lot. Same kinda truck and everything. Luckily our license plates meet and there wasn't any damage.

I was in the car when it happened and I went ballistic... The guy who hit me would not get outta his truck and wouldn't even look at me. 5 min later campus police showed up(I'm guessing he called them) and just told us to get to class.

I wasn't so mad that he hit me, I was pissed he wouldn't get outta his truck.

If people can't drive and park a large vehicle, don't drive one! I park far away and walk extra...most people just don't care of others vehicles..one of my pet peeves...

I do the same...park far away and walk. Some a$$hat still managed to hit my rear bumper, cracking the plastic on the top. Not a big crack, maybe an inch, but still pisses me off every time I see it.

You guys ever park way out by yourself only to return to your car and find several cars parked way out with you?

I hate when that happens. :want:

Happens to me all the time.

Picture this

Decide to drive my drag car for an evening. Car has a 4" outlaw cowl hood on it. I come out of the store to find a guy completely hung over the side of the car with his whole top half of his body inserted in the opening at the back of the hood. I walk up and say HEY, "oh sorry I was just curious what the motor looked like on this beast" I firmly told him that this is not the way to go about finding out but could be a way to bring himself more trouble then he might think. I was not to happy about it. I didn't let him leave until I looked around the car to make sure he didn't scratch the paint.

I always park towards the rear of the lot and try to find one of those parking spots where you are protected by at least 2 sides.

Parking in the back is the way to go. I always park at a angle across two spaces so no one can park directly next to me...

How about when your stopped at a red light for about 15 seconds in broad daylight with 0 cars around you, and then getting smashed into from the back out of nowhere. Yea that happened to me 2 weeks after I got my car.
