You need to love it more. I have 6 years and 74K and no issues. I could get the driver's seat vertical motor and lumbar motor fixed, but it is comfortable. Need to clay bar the paint for the summer, but still looks fantastic. Need to have one aluminum wheel refurbished, but looks acceptable. I painted the calibers 5 years ago and they need a touch up. They got scratched up when I had new brakes installed last week.

My goal - to drive it until the wheels fall off or it ends up in my estate sale. :yup:

Most of the enjoyment of the STS is driving it, not letting it sit in the driveway IMHO

If one is working to put miles on a car or working to keep the miles off the car .... you're working too hard (though I am all for consolidating trips and errands)! JMO

40,000 miles ! That car isn't even broken in yet. My 2005 STS just hit 190,000 this week !! Still going strong and looks brand new. I'm the original owner and this car use a true work horse. Love it.

My 06 V only has 29k. It was someone's garage queen before I got it. It's not a daily driver for me so I don't put many miles on it, but would like to drive it more and will now that the weather is finally getting better

My 06 regular STS, which my wife mostly drives now, has close to 60k, but she also has another car.

We use one or the other for road trips, so they get occasional big jumps in miles.

I car is meant to be driven. My 05 sts has 101,000. I bought it in 09 with 50,000 miles. Its still running strong. I love getting her on the streets. Don't make since to have a beautiful beast and not let the world experience them with you. Let those caddys hit the streets and get some experience on those engines and tires.

Hi josephdav01,

I totally agree with you. Show off those Cadillacs to the public. It is definitely a beauty that is meant to be driven. Enjoy it :)

I rock an 06 with 95k miles and it runs great. I'm a DIY guy with extensive low voltage experience and semi advanced mechanical skills. I've serviced my caddy for the last 4 years and baby it like a new born. interior looks and smells brand new and I have a list of modifications done myself & constantly drive it to car shows. my next step is fabricating an air strut setup with universal parts since I can't find coilovers. anyone slam their STS? I mean beyond 2 inches?

Members have posted some sick-pix but I like the OEM handling.
