: How about an ATS DIY sub-forum?

Who's in for it? If so, make yourself heard.

I was not a modder, but when I joined some of the BMW forums (325i-E46 and Z4-E85), I became a moderate modder. I found their DIY forums very informative (pictures and step-by-step instructions) and learned to do quite a few things on my own. Also, used these forums to check out problems before I went for repairs. This way I could either fix the car myself, or at least not get ripped off.

I'm not voting (yet).

I want to see as many DIY threads as possible. But since I browse thru all the ATS (and a few other) forums, I'm not sure I want to have to click on another. Plus I've seen almost civil wars break out when sub forums got too specific and moderators started moving threads because they saw things differently than the OPs.

And it seems that after 96 views and no voting at all, that folks aren't interested in having some fun and learning what their car is really about.

I'd read/provide DIY info . . . sounds good to me.
