Wasn't trying to gain membership in this exclusive club, but it happened after a 4 wheel alignment. I had a perennial issue with my DTS: high speed handling, Lane changes sucked, the car felt like a lumbering hunk of metal on the highway when changing lanes. Driving straight down the road the car tracked perfect. Multiple alignments at the dealer changed nothing

Decided to venture out of the GM dealers to the "Best" alignment shop in Cleveland...one that has been in business for like 70 years.

Took a 49 mile trip yesterday, with speeds between 65 and 75 MPH. At the conclusion of the 49 mile trip this was the conclusion...30+ MPG. My previous (drive 55) best was 25.5 MPG. The alignment of the rear Toe was out so far that it was the only explanation. Car handles much better.

Had the same problem, mine was tracking sideways, steering wheel off to one side when traveling straight. Had a 4 wheel alignment and road force balance done, could not believe the difference in ride. My mileage went from 25 mpg to 28.7, thought I was doing good. But not as good as you.

Did not know the club existed.
